St. Marks episcopal church Centennial Celebration

Welcome to St. Mark’s Episcopal Church as we celebrate our Centennial Year!  If you have not yet read about our history why not take a few minutes now and learn more about us.

We have numerous spiritual and special-event activities planned to celebrate of our 100th year birthday.  Our services and activities are open to all so please join us and celebrate with us.

Centennial Year Celebration Schedule (check back frequently for more detail and events):

  • May 6th, Saturday, Centennial Flea Market, rain date Saturday, May 20th

  • June 3rd, Saturday, Centennial Flea Market, rain date Saturday, June 17th

  • June 24th, Saturday, Family day with a BBQ, kid friendly games, open garden

  • September 23rd, Saturday, Centennial Art Festival, World Café-community gathering

  • October 7th, Saturday, Centennial Flea Market, rain date Saturday, October 21st

  • October 18th, Wednesday, Centennial Festival Music Concert (followed by wine and cheese)

  • November (exact date to be determined) Centennial Dinner at St. Mark’s

  • Sunday, November 19th, Bilingual Special Service with Bishop Lawrence C. Provenzano, former Priests and Deacons

We offer a bi-lingual eucharist in the Anglican Episcopal tradition.  We respond to the needs of a diverse congregation.  We foster unity and inclusiveness.  We reach out through Christian education and social support. We strive to enhance spiritual growth and development for our congregation and the larger community of Jackson Heights.  We believe our church has no walls.  We are humble.  We are here.
